๐ Objective¶
Ensure consistent first layers and strong bed adhesion by properly cleaning the build surface.

- Lint-free cloth or paper towel
- Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) 90% or higher
- Plastic scraper (optional)
- Dish soap and water (for deep cleaning)
โ ๏ธ Safety Precautions¶
Warning
- Wait until the build plate is cool before cleaning.
- Avoid abrasive tools (e.g., metal scrapers) that could scratch the surface.

๐งน Cleaning Methods¶
1. Routine Cleaning (IPA Wipe)¶
- Dampen a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol.
- Wipe the entire surface evenly to remove grease, dust, or adhesive residue.
- Let it dry completely before printing.
2. Deep Cleaning (Soap & Water)¶
- Remove the plate from the printer if detachable.
- Wash gently with warm water and dish soap.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean towel.
- Optionally finish with an IPA wipe.

- Do not touch the print surface with bare fingers after cleaning.
- Do not use acetone unless explicitly safe for your build surface.
- Reapply adhesive (if applicable) only after a clean base.
